Sentinel sucks!! If you are one of these ppl who use them online and keep doing the same cheap things over and over again then you must suck at this game haha Like seriously I know its a game and we should all have fun but when ppl keep doing that its just anoying.

@kingvideo4u While I can't agree with king's grammar or eagerness to say that Sentinel is for noobs, I can agree that he has a point. Slightly. It's his Sentinel Drones and his low kick that beats everything ever that makes it so cheap. But the idea is to keep him at range. That's where characters like Chris, Doctor Doom, Rocket Raccoon, and Hawkeye really shine!

That's why you have team synergy. All characters have specific weaknesses. However, keep in mind that in this game, nearly the entire roster is viable while a good half of them can contend in the upper tiers. Pick a guy and build a team around that guy. You would be surprised. Generally I use Nova/Trish/Strider (Nova is the biggest fuck you to air zoning, Trish for support and second, and Strider for Vajra and X factor level 3). It generally does well against annoying bullet hells.

@Machdude I get your point and I agree but the thing is that it wouldnt matter to me if players used the characters the right way (no matter what character) but many players love being cheap and they just try to keep you cornered by doing the same attack over and over lol im like "wow really?" anoying XD

Believe it or not, Sentinel is high tier, not god tier and that is purely because of his Sentinel force assist. The top tier gripes should generally be reserved for Wesker since he dominates mostly any game being played. But if you've seen the MvC3 tourney games, the team composition is all over the place so tiers matter far less than team synergy.

@LlamaDJ See, I'd normally agree with you if it was any other character, but the thing about Sentinel is that he's horribly, horribly broken and Capcom even acknowledges this fact. They're nerfing the hell out of him in Ultimate.

Not to mention he's generic, boring and there were many other characters they should've picked before him, considering in the comics he's nothing more than a mook.
