Nope, full boost by 5500rpm and it runs 7.8s on the 1/4, hardly pointless?? :-)

they obviously know what there doing , so instead of hating on whats obviously bad ass, why not try to appreciate it for what it is and learn . check out there other videos, its undeniable the amount of talent they have , and the quality of there work speaks for its self . .

@nataslider fucking amen to that. Its funny cos I see the same thing at every race meeting when we have the GTR out. All these "backyard skyline mechanics" gather in an try and tell you that your doing this wrong or you could get more power from doing that. haha its just a fucking joke none of them have a clue about circuit racing. Anyway slightly off topic but big ups robbie!

@dacraze1 ebay turbos may hold up but fuck i been in a ebay turbo civic and the the power is all at the top the power curve on those knock off turbo sucks all the power is it at your engine redline so its barely useable

how long does an engine like this last for you guys?

@Flattrate we did 4 seasons with this motor with oil changes and a set of spark plugs only with a huge number of 7 second runs with the best of 7.2 @ 186mph.

does a big turbo like that mean big turbo lag ? if so how to you bypass this problem ?

@reubentg it can do, all depends on the motor and tuning and also the type of transmission your running etc. I use a small shot of NOS to spool the turbo on the transbrake and with the exact engine combination you see there we are now running 7.2s on the 1/4 with no lag off the line.
