I'm glad this song was on House and that Lanois was exposed to so many people.

If you like this, I urge you to listen to more of his stuff.

He is a beautiful artist. I've had the pleasure of seeing him live many times.

I do disagree in part though that House made him. He was around long before House, playing memorable music and producing some of the world's biggest musical acts.

Dan Lanois puts so much heart into his music. Had Acadie decades ago, loved it then but just re-discovered him with Here is What Is and now collecting all his work. I'll admit I caught the song from an episode of house. But I didn't return to it until a late night studying. Took a smoke break and heard the lyrics echoing in my head, so I youtubed this very video after googling the lyrics to see who it was. Needless to say Lanois is amazing. His style strikes so many nodes in me that I find myself coming back to his music when ever I feel the current moment will bring nostalgia when I look back; almost as if I want to mark it with an audible scent.
