Imagine the ideal radio.

The Tivoli Audio® Model One™ AM/FM table radio has been described as "the best sounding table radio ever made," (MSNBC) offering "the kind of room-filling sound that many other radios claim to deliver but often don't." (Forbes)

With a tuner that brings clairty to many of the weakest stations, the Model One radio begins with a handmade wood cabinet that is both beautiful and the ideal acoustically inert speaker housing. A heavy-magnet, long-throw driver is mated to a frequency contouring circuit that automatically adjusts output over half-octave increments, resulting in musically accurate tonal balance and bass response. "When your stereophile loved ones turn the knob on the rock-solid Henry Kloss Model One Table Radio, they'll toss out all their multiuse, Bluetooth-enabled gadgets and cry with hi-fi joy." (Elle)

Like all Tivoli Audio products, the Model One AM/FM table radio is compatible with iPod and other players. Available in five finishes, for yourself or someone else you care about.

An external FM antenna and 9' power cord are included. One year warranty. Offered in Beige/Walnut, Green/Maple, Cobalt/Cherry, Black/Silver, and Silver/White. Other colors available through select retailers.

  • What country are these made in? China, Thailand, Korea, Japan....Their website won't say where their factory is located.

  • Nice promo but I find the music to be unbearable! Ironic that a product whose demographic is more likely to listen to jazz, classical, NPR, CBC and BBC on such a radio is probably not going to respond well to the choice of tinny, synthesized disco music. Yes, I will be buying a few of these radios, but would prefer a more mature intro to the radio, and hold the music...unless of course you are playing music on the actual radio, so that the viewers on YouTube can hear the audio quality.

  • @fmbroadcast I have to warn you as a present owner of Tivoli audio: this thing has pathetic in-speaker built amp. There is some degree of roll-off within bass and treble. Solution: attachment Tivoli Audio to external amplifier. I have to inform you that I was amazed what kind of difference in sound quality such setup can produce. The sound became incredibly accurate with tight bass in clear highs. Don't believe the reviewers claimning that Tivoli is crap, because it is not!

  • @skinnyblinddude Are you on 60Hz there, we have 50Hz hum here in Australia

  • @Anderskh you can certainly add an extra speaker to this for stereo sound if you want

  • I just bought one as they are quality radios, very simple and they sound fantastic, brilliant for using as a pc sound out. Some people are not happy with the fact they are mono but you can get a matching extra speaker to give you both channels

  • I have imagined the ideal radio, and that radio is the Sangean WR-11.

  • I want one

  • I prefer my shortwave receiver

  • Did Henry Kloss see this and if so what did he think ?

How about a second speaker for stereo ?

I have the KLH 8 and the KLH 21 which are precursers to this.
