how well have the standed manifolds put up with the td04. or are you looking to use bigger manifolds.
-
with the tdo4 on standard internals, did you find any more power on same boost level?
how bad was the lag?

Stock internals can support a proven 200bhp using the TD04, we've run them for years over here in NI. The lag isn't too bad and with the right setup lag can be reduced. Definitely more power per pound of boost over a CT9.
From the heat involved I would most certainly recommend using a more free-flowing manifold than the stock unit. It was one of the small concerns with this setup.
Hope that helps,
Jay

For the two trackdays this setup was run for it was on .9 bar of boost with a Mines ECU controlling the fuelling. Seemed pretty sharp in a straight line but lag made the corners tricky.
I'm heading for a 'response' setup using a hybrid CT9 shortly. Should prove more suitable for Kirkistown.
That may be a WEPR TD04 kit that Toby is advertising - I know Sacha has a new version that retains the stock radiator available now. His workmanship is quality stuff.
I'm in Northern Ireland.

engine forged?
did u get tdo4 kit of toytuning?

No mate, stock engine and just an adaptor plate on the ct9 manifold. Didn't think Toby at Toytuning did TD04 kits but I could be wrong.
