Actually, it goes like this;
1) Ash is in love with May
2) Dawn is in love with Ash
3) Dawn uses Paul to get rid of May by persuading him her friendship.
4) Paul accepts, and kills May for Dawn
5) Ash finds out - they fight - Dawn accidentally kills them both.

I don't know, it just came to me as I was listening to this song, not to mention, the subject is "desperation", so I just used that concept and made it more extreme than it may have really been.
Ideas just come to me some times.
