It crystal clear that the song was taken and adapted to RnB from Muhlis Akarsu's "Allah Allah desem de Gelsem" song. Anyone who does not believe can check it out on youtube. I am pretty sure no one denies this, and I also sure, some how some way certain rights were paid. Lets just enjoy the music. We won't always be influenced by the west, as you see they are also influenced by us.

It is known that Nelly Furtado loves turkish folk music. she could have said that she did it....

so what what r u trying to say? pir sultan abdal didnt make it far at all but nelly would have made it that far without that song, which means she doesn't need us (i am also a turc, thats why i am using us). these senceless comments r getting on my nerves man. Yes I love turkey and i wouldn't live anywhere else but why do u have to comment senceless shit everywhere?

Nelly's music is clearly influenced by many cultures. It's okay to be influenced! Art is knowledge, knowledge is free! I've heard modern music from Asia that borrows tunes from Western culture. It's all good! Love, peace and music!
