Promised Land - Adam Levine, Kanye West and Malik Yusef

For supporting Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign, poet Malik Yusef called out his mentor, the amazing MC King Mr. Kanye West, and fellow Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine to record for the "Yes We Can" Compilation this song, "Promised Land". This spacey, uplifting, hopeful and powerful synth rap gospel is a delivered message to everybody to make things change for the better. I post this as an homage to these beloved artists' aim, to their art and their amazing collaboration, and as a testify of sharing of their vision and passion.
I really believe that everybody, together and as a fair society, we have the power to change world for the better. I hate that NBC don't broadcast that outside US online. In Italy we get Dave Letterman but not your version of SNL. Luckely I have seen that video online. You're right, it's hilarious. These aren't ryhmes made up in three minutes at all. Malik's a poet, Kanye's a genius, and Adam Levine is best thing on planet Earth. This song moved me in actually learning a bit more about US situation before the elections. Trust me it ain't easy to push e over books if not requested for Uni studies, but their song and their passion in this song made that. hence the song moves people. Which is what great music should help at: opening hearts and minds. If you can't see it it's your loss.

SNL puts most of their videos on their website; there's a lot of really funny Andy ones. It was actually Fred Armisen playing Ahmadinejad (Jake Gyllenhaal was just in it for a few seconds), but yeah that video is incredible. I really want to see more with Andy and Adam haha.
