9 day old bluetit chicks.WMV

Now at 9 days the chicks are doing well. Its difficult to count them but I think we still have at least 8 in the nest. Competition for food is fierce and although the chicks eyes are still to open wing feathers are developing and there is much more movement in the nest, Feeding is continuous from both parent birds.
