I have the greatest respect for art teachers, but watching this video with the camera constantly bobbing around made me feel sick! I couldn't even get through it. Tripod, man!

Will be finishing intro to color theory w/ high school classes early this week and was planning to show Bearden as part of Black History Month. Think I'll show this to students last day before winter break.

I have always loved Bearden's work. Great job, John. I have always had a sneaking admiration for Gramsci (what a guy!), but kept it quiet. In the circles I travel in, nobody's heard of this jewel. Val
