This screencast gives an overview of some of the functions of the WYSIWYG editor used to edit content within an article
01: The WYSIWYG field allows you to format text for display in the front end
02: The buttons at the top allow you to effect the content with various options
03: The Cut button removes the selected text from the field and puts it in your clipboard
04: The Copy button copies the selected text from the field and puts it in your clipboard
05: The Paste as plain text button allows you to paste text from your clipboard without and formatting
06: The Paste from Word button allows you to paste text from your clipboard without and styling
07: The bold button changes the selected text to a bold style
08: The italic button changes the selected text to an italic style
09: The underline button changes the selected text to an underline style
10: The align center button centers the selected text
11: The align right button aligns the selected text to the right
12: The align full button fully justifies the selected text
13: The align left button is the default alignment and will align the selected text left
14: The unordered list button turns the selected text into a bulleted list
15: The unordered list types button allows you to change the style of the bullet
16: The ordered list button turns the selected text into a numbered list
17: The ordered list types button allows you to change the style of the bullet
18: The Undo button undoes the previous change made
19: The Redo button redoes the next change made
20: The HTML button allows you to directly edit the source of the field
21: The insert link button allows you to type a link or select a file to link the selected text to
22: The remove link button allows you to delete a selected link
23: The insert anchor button allows you to insert an anchor
24: You can then use the insert link button to select the anchor
25: You can use the insert image button to browse for an image
26: You can then give it a description and then insert it into the field
27: The insert media button allows you to insert any of the listed media types
28: The insert custom character button allows you to insert any of the listed media types
29: The insert horizontal rule button allows you to define and insert a dividing line
30: The styles button allows you to select a pre-defined style and apply it to the selected text
31: The format button allows you to change the tag for the block of selected text
32: The edit CSS style button allows you to change any style aspect of the selected text
33: The remove formatting button allows you to remove all styles applied to the selected text
34: The edit attributes button allows you to change the defined attributes of the selected text
