Our man Rory is looking quite HOT here!! Woo Hoo!! This is how I best like to remember him.... Hard to believe it was 35 years ago!!! Seems like just yesterday but time marches on...... By now he would have beautiful thick wavy white hair like his brother Donal, only longer....

thats a big claim to make i love rory gallagher aswell but i couldn't say any guitarist is the best in the world, there are so many greats that you couldn't differentiate eric clapton mark knopfler, jimmy hendrix. whos the best? immpossible to seperate imo. Imagine rory gallagher as far as i know isn't in the rolling stone top 100 gutarists of all time. thats pathetic journalism from whoever printed that shite, gallagher is legend.

Supposedly, the only "effect" Rory used was called a "treble booster". He definitely did not use a wah wah peddle.
