  • With OpenGL?, I have OpenCL on Ubuntu 10.10 and makes better the hadware I don't need use more Directx

  • I'm dying i have a core 2 duo 2 GHz laptop with nVidia GeForce 8400M GS graphics card( i know its not that great) but i cant get SC2 to run playable even on the lowest settings. i just made the switch from windows to linux and i love everything about it except that SC2 is unbearable in wine is there anyway i can get it to run better maybe killing compiz?

  • @sinatosk Nope. But, In EU the mac beta hasn't been released yet so maybe it will work in the future.

  • blizzard has been known to support OpenGL in their games since warcraft 3. I don't have access to starcraft 2 beta... so I'm no sure

    in warcraft 3 you can switch from direct 3d to opengl by command line

    upon starting starcraft 2 try the command line option "/path/to/starcraft2.exe -opengl" see if that does anything
