With OpenGL?, I have OpenCL on Ubuntu 10.10 and makes better the hadware I don't need use more Directx

I'm dying i have a core 2 duo 2 GHz laptop with nVidia GeForce 8400M GS graphics card( i know its not that great) but i cant get SC2 to run playable even on the lowest settings. i just made the switch from windows to linux and i love everything about it except that SC2 is unbearable in wine is there anyway i can get it to run better maybe killing compiz?

was the framerate drop offs a side effect of the recording or does it not work all that well

@sinatosk Nope. But, In EU the mac beta hasn't been released yet so maybe it will work in the future.

blizzard has been known to support OpenGL in their games since warcraft 3. I don't have access to starcraft 2 beta... so I'm no sure
in warcraft 3 you can switch from direct 3d to opengl by command line
upon starting starcraft 2 try the command line option "/path/to/starcraft2.exe -opengl" see if that does anything
If I may ask, how did you get this to work?
