Please send a letter, call, or email Animal Planet and tell them NOT to air their new show, beginning 2/6/2009, called "Jockeys: Win or Die Trying," which glamorizes the cruel horse racing industry. The TV show fails to mention that nearly 800 horses die every year on US race tracks and an additional 3,600 horses will be so injured, they cannot finish their race.
