Thanks for posting this wonderful clip! But just to clear up a few things for those of you, who are baffled by the length of this film. This is NOT a complete copy, this is actually an abridged version for the home movie market, released on 9,5mm film a few years after 1917. There are however complete copies in existence. Hope this helped!

If you are logged in, Welcome Danger is on TCM tonight (Aug. 5, 2009) at 9:30 PM EDT. Other than that, neither title is available on DVD that I know of.

All autographs pre 1936 (or 38) as some reports have it were signed by Foxy. Once Foxy retired in 38 to Palm Springs, Harold signed all his own autographs.

About Bebe Daniels looking at the camera...you're right! Sometimes she does that and it drives me nuts! I actually thought it was her acting style. But no, I don't like it at all. I thought it was just me who noticed.
