I've been a Charvel/Jackson fan since the 80s and have owned, and still do, several of each. I'm sure Jackson sells enough of these and makes plenty of money from this, but every time I see one it just seems overboard to me. Too much. Like what I would have spec'd out when I was a kid. Figured tops, flashy paint jobs, figured necks, Floyd, sustainers, switches, batteries lol. These days I can afford whatever I want but I like it simple; FR and a humbucker that's it. I won't be buying this.

LOL Phil isn't one of my favorite players or even what I would consider a very good guitarist but I have nothing against the man. In fact many Def Leppard songs are among my favorites, and I've never heard anything but good things from people who have met or known him. I certainly wish him all the best on his success.

Phil is th reason i even PLAY guitar... from the early Def Lep hard rock stuff even to the album they put out Def Leppard has ALWAYS been my favorite band and Phil has always been the guitar player i've aspired to be.. definitly an awesome underrated guitar player (obviously... get a load of these assholes who don't know shit) hahaha... saludos desde Argentina

I heard his friend was drowned by a bully in grade school so he 20 years later he got the bully as a special guest at a concert and totally embarrassed him with a song about it!!!!
