I, too, did research on Dr Hamburg and found all you say, DotConnectorUK, to be true about her. I say there is too much "conflict of interest" for her to even be in the FDA. She needs to go! Also, Michael Taylor, another Obama appointee to the FDA, who was with Monsanto. Do the people in Washington think we are all stupid!? We see what's going on here!

Dear President,
issues of highest importance you not mentioned re FDA are:
1 the food served in schools all around the US full of fat and suger and poor in nutrient, worsening kids study capabilities and health.
2 the over drugging of school kids with Rithalin etc producing further decline in the scholastic statistics of the US
& finally the Genetically Modified Food, that can't be even recognized as it is not labeled.
All these have in common interest groups that lobby for profit - HELP !!!

In light of that President Obama, I sincerely hope you will take it upon yourself to take a look at the damage that Aspartame is causing in the health of Americans. It is a devastating chemical used in artificial sweeteners which are put in nearly all "sugar-free" products and which has been documented to cause neurological damage, tumors, and cancer from prolonged use. Please outlaw this drug that is destroying lives Mr. President.
