Saskatoon Health Region - Mental Illness Awareness

The one-person play, "Crazy for Life" kicks off Mental Illness Awareness Week at Saskatoon Health Region. The play is part of the 2009 Annual Saskatchewan Conference on Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Victoria Maxwell wrote and stars in this real-life account of her experiences with mental illness and recovery. For a woman who has worked alongside some major names in Hollywood, such as Johnny Depp and John Travolta, being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder had a devastating effect on her ability to audition and perform.
