I have been to both Rhodes and crete. crete wins hands down . There is so much to see in crete. From stunning beaches (Elafonisi, falasarna). To stunning towns. (reythnmnon, chania.). As well as stunning small villages everywhere. Its not totally tourist orientated either. And its much better for this. whatever your kind of holiday crete has it all. just booked another 3 weeks near chania area cant wait to sit there again ..

My Great Uncle was there. . .except he wasn't relaxing, he was on the fighting front,when it was invaded, and he says it was one of the most beautifel places until fritz came, but I agree it is beautiful places and I hope to come here one day =)
