This clip is a scene where the boyfriend
and girlfriend are have a discussion
about life. Rudy was recently
released from jail and had
fathered a child while he was
away. Diane does not want their
child to be raised as a cholo/gangster.
Rudy argues with Diane on why
he lives that life.
Rudy is played by Melvin Hernandez
and Diane is Maragarita Reyes.
Directed by Andy Pressman.

When looking at this part of the film,
I knew right away that a lone guitar
would be perfect. The dialog, the room
setting and Rudy's attitude called
for it. He focused his life on friends
and local idealogies, yet he sees
himself as larger than life.
