Easter Monday 2007--the dedication of the newly restored Canadian National Vimy Memorial
Canadian sculptor Walter Allward built the magnificent tribute at Vimy Ridge in 1936. Etched in the white stone are the names of more than 11,000 missing Canadians who died in the war without a grave. Canada spent $20 million restoring the massive twin-tower limestone memorial.
The Queen officially re-dedicated the 71-year-old monument on 04/9/2007.
This video deserves so many more views. Again "God Bless" to everyone that has served this Country.

Wish I could have been there to see the ceremony. My grandfather and grandmother were there in 1936 as my grandtather fought there in 1917.
