I was there that day! It was amazing how many trucks came through. My great uncle was driving a truck in that. It is sooo great how many people were willing to give up their time to help those children!!! =)

i did something similar to that last summer. called tuned for tuna in springfield massachussetts, where people ride in a big parade and procession to the shriners hospital and visit the kids. i went because my uncle is the captain of the sprinfield pd, but i know wat it feels like to do that it is a great feeling knowing that your are helping a kid get better..

each year Make a Wish in PA does a Convoy to raise money and they let make a wish children ride in the trucks. It is an annual event and raise a lot of money, too. If you 'google' it, you will see the website that explains the history of it. Pretty cool, almost 400 trucks last year!
