Thanks for the porky pig noses;-) The really do look like pig noses;-) What type of wire is that! It looks like chicken coop wire. I should be on a farm haha! Maybe this summer I'll build a raku kiln. Thanks again! Think I'm using youtube for my home page again! Have a nice day ~ Karen

I shudder every time you adjust your camera with wet clay all over your hands!! I can picture your camera with clay smudges all over it. Apparently it doesn't do any harm as you keep filming for us, which we appreciate. Nice kiln ideas, I must try that this coming summer.

"pays your moneys and takes your choice"
Sounds like abit of Jeremy is coming out in your speach HaHa! Love it!
How are those lovely brothers of yours, Simon? hugs to them both!
From the crazy Redhead who's brother looks similar to John, HaHa. That is before he shaved all his hair and beard off , on New Years Eve!
If they are going to call, least they could is be the right # or pay you for answering it HaHa.
Buttons are what most of my books say!
I like my old gutted electric kilns best!

Nice idea, Simon. Adorama is one of the best internet suppliers of photo equipment.
Hi simon, i´m Leticia from Argentina, i want to ask you what temperature has to resist that fiber? did you say ceramic fiber? or can i use fibreglass too. I want to do that raku kiln. Thanks a lot!!
lechuguita81 1 year ago
@lechuguita81 .Hi - the fiber is "ceramic fiber" & must be rated for 1800 F or 1000 C - minimum temp. Glass fiber is NO GOOD , so do not use it as it will melt ! SL

Simon, very cool idea on the raku kiln. I've just been watching your video this past 2 weeks, great teaching, good videos! How long are you staying in the US? Any plans to visit Canada?
