$55,000 is actually quite expensive once you see one of these in real life. They are TINY, remind me of a power wheels version of a race car when you see one in real life. If you are taller than 5 '8 or weigh more than 170 lbs, this thing is a PAIN in the ass...I'm 5'11' and 180 lbs, and although was comfortable enough once i got in, the removable steering wheel is not an option, but a requirement.

@allah211 no, they just used a 4cyl to keep the weight town. they use the toyota sourced (kawaski built) motor because you dont need a lot of horsepower to make a car that lightweight fast. only 220 at the crank and its a low 13 second car

never put weight on the windshield when getting into a lotus or you will crack the windshield...

you are shit... they crack easy because they are made to be lightweight but shatterproof. Certain sacrifices must be made for light weight.
