Kelley Blue Book's Video Road Test Editor Micah Muzio tests that theory by exploring the City of Angels from the driver's seat of the 2008 Lotus Elise SC and finds some interesting results along the way.

you are shit... they crack easy because they are made to be lightweight but shatterproof. Certain sacrifices must be made for light weight.

$55,000 is actually quite expensive once you see one of these in real life. They are TINY, remind me of a power wheels version of a race car when you see one in real life. If you are taller than 5 '8 or weigh more than 170 lbs, this thing is a PAIN in the ass...I'm 5'11' and 180 lbs, and although was comfortable enough once i got in, the removable steering wheel is not an option, but a requirement.

@allah211 no, they just used a 4cyl to keep the weight town. they use the toyota sourced (kawaski built) motor because you dont need a lot of horsepower to make a car that lightweight fast. only 220 at the crank and its a low 13 second car
