  • @triplea20x The air plane doesn't have different speeds going on inside of it. The world would need to have gradients of air speed to keep up with the spin, which means 1000 mph at the equator and 0 at the poles because that is what the earth does. That's ridiculous. Not to mention the speed outside of the atmosphere. They say we're barreling along at 67,000 mph around the sun. Paltry 200 mph winds blow away reinforced structures yet those 67,000 mph winds don't blow away the atmosphere?

  • @flatterearth Same way a fly can lazily move in every directiion in a speeding car. The explanation is exactly the same. As long as there is no acceleration, (and the earth is not accelerating), then we are RELATIVELY motionless. This is why anything on earth including the atmosphere can travel in any direction it pleases. Don't believe me? Then how are you able to get up and walk to the bathroom on a plane? Planes travel 500 mph and humans can only walk maybe 3 mph. So how do we make it there?

  • @triplea20x Your answer is all over the place. First, let me ask how the atmosphere spins with the earth? That would mean that the atmosphere spins 1000 mph at the equator and 0 mph at the poles...and every gradient between. Yet the clouds move lazily every direction at various speeds. That notion is ridiculous.

  • @flatterearth It's all about relativity. It's the same reason a fly is able to fly when it's in a speeding car. The earth, the oceans, as well as the air in the atmosphere is all spinning with it. So it is relatively motionless...but in reality, it is spinning and revolving around the sun at the same time. The moon is gravitationally drawn to the earth, and thus rotates around it. Most of the work getting back to the earth is done by earth's gravitational pull!

  • @Aimboy82 Fine, then a plane should hover when it goes the opposite direction of earth spin. Since the plane doesn't hover when it goes the opposite direction of earth spin, but actually travels 1000 miles no matter which direction it flies, we can conclude the earth is motionless.

  • @flatterearth No, the jet will not just hover. When on earth you are always moving 1,000 mph at the equater. So when I jet takes off and reaches a speed of 1,000 mph, the combined speed will technically be 2,000 mph.

  • If the earth is rotating at 1000 mph at the equator (as NASA science says) and if a jet going the same speed having taken off at the equator travels parallel to the direction earth is spinning, would the plane just hover?

NASA says that earth is traveling 76,000 mph around the sun. If the astronauts exited the ball of the earth, to go to the moon, how did they get back on? Can any aircraft go 76,000 mph? Going 0-76,000 mph is tough to do.

NASA is a money-devouring lie. Open your eyes.

  • fake

  • @flatterearth My you are a fool indeed. Try setting your DVR on Dish Earth for 24 hour period, in the mean time look into some basic photography principles like backlighting, lens flare, etc...

Play back your 24 hour clip and viola, a round earth!

Still not convinced? Get in an airplane and head due east. Look at how you end up back where you started from without needing to reverse course!

    Cheers

  • BALONEY! This is from Dish Earth. It used to be on channel 212 on Dish, now on 295. Dish claims this is the earth! Baloney to that too! This isn't the earth and it isn't the moon. It's stupid!
