Here are a few of Renegade Hybrids examples of Porsche conversions. Love the clean installation, fantastic drivability, and that awesome sound. With less weight, greater power, and more reliability than a turbo motor, the all-aluminum LS series GM engines have found a new home under the tail of the sexy 911. • Regarding weight distrobution...it depends on the 911. Typically the all aluminum V8's are about the same weight as a 3.0L and very close to a 2.7L. We are might lighter than a single turbo 930 engine by as much as 180 lbs...and the twin turbo package is over 200lbs. than the LS V8. So, if you have an early 911 or 912, and you wish to have big turbo performance without the weight, this is the only way to go.

  • There are so many out there. If you look at the Renegade Hybrids YouTube channel, we have lots of conversion videos. I also like the track clip from Tony G who is one of our customers and a good driver. Do a search for "Tony G California Speedway Speed Ventures" and you will see him pass several in the field. I would also suggest serching YouTube and you will find a ton more. Thanks for asking. I will have a few more up soon. We are building another 944 in the Spring!

  • In the front trunk! Go to our web site at renegadehybrids dut com and look under conversion kits, then 911, then customer cars. The top white car has some good images including our cooling system installation. To bad youtube won't allow me to drop a link here for you to click on, but it's pretty easy for you to find. Thanks.

  • It's a House of Colors Tangerine shot on a bright yellow base. The pictures do not do this car justice. It's awesome in person!

  • very nice.. Awesome !!!

  • @grabir01 Thanks... Can't wait to show you the new 911's we are building. We have a nearly-completed 993TT AWD 911 with a 565HP LS3 tucked nicely in the rear. We have a mid 80's 911 660HP LS7 powered conversion that even has true 180 headers that runs and will drive later this week. AND, we have a 1999 996 C4 E-Rod 50 state smog legal 430HP LS3 V8 911 that we just started last week! In November, our LS7 Boxter project will take shape as we introduce another new batch of conversion kits!

  • Hi to everyone... i'm interested on LS-3 Engine on my Porsche 86' 944 N/A... what's the Weight Ratio Front & Rear after the Transplant? What are the items included on the kit? what are the upgrades on stock LS-3 to have a 550HP+ that will "PASS" - "CA SMOG TEST"? and are you going to modify the stock brakes to Porsche "Big Brakes" all around? How much it will COST? to "BUILD" stock LS3 = 350+HP? and a modified 550+ HP? Thanks... ^_^
