It was a spooky moon but it ended up being very colorful. I used a wide array of lenses (the 18, 15, 11, 8 and 5 mm lenses) and I did a unique 1080p test with Debut and direct recording from the web camera at 8-15 frames per second. It should be a great video with smooth movements (with the exception of the atmospherics on the moon). I used all of the lenses with the exception of the 25mm. Great test with a colorful moon...

  • great video - ty

  • @AlexFate101 Thanks for the nice comment! And thanks a lot for watching my video!!!

  • Is the color real, or an artifact from the camera? What I do see is the redish color seems to be centered where ever it is present.

  • @TheJascal This camera is designed to accurately bring out the color. In some cases when the light flows from the object it acts sort of like if you took a picture in the glare of the sun - offset color. But the color is real and I believe that this camera is bringing out the true color on the moon. Thanks for the thoughts and thanks for watching my video...

  • Good God man, best video to date.

The clarity of the craters is amazing.

  • @poprocz Thanks for the comments! This camera is awesome and it really brings out the detail. The camera was designed to bring out color from the ground up and you can really tell on the moon that it does a super duper job! Thanks for watching my video...

  • @Wibble99O Thanks for the nice comment! There are not many individuals doing video of the moon. I am hoping my videos will inspire more astronomers to try video as I believe it is so much better than static pictures and looking through an eyepiece. With video you can share your experience with many people!!! Thanks for watching my video...

  • @IwantToBelieve76 Thanks for the comment!!! And thanks for watching my video!!!

  • Excellent work. I've been searching for any NASA footage that is better than this. You would think that with their tax budget this wouldn't be difficult. Your footage is clearly winning at the moment.

  • thx for sharing this! awesome
