PRODUCER/EDITOR
Series Producer, Tigers Weekly, 2008, (25 episodes), organized and crafted themes for a magazine show about the Detroit Tigers. Duties included pre-production, interviewing, writing, editing, feature and travel coordination, working with talent and assistants, directing, shooting and supervising the edit of each 30-minute episode. Won a Michigan Emmy Award for collaboration on a feature that aired in one of its shows.
Series Producer, Red Wings Weekly, 2008 2009 (25 episodes)
Show Co-Producer/Editor, Under the Lights: Red Wing Prospect Camp, 2008, a documentary style program following four top Red Wing prospects through their experience at training camp. Duties included writing, structuring and editing a 30-minute show; including field producing an all-access in-depth look as we followed the prospects into the Red Wing system. Won a 2009 Michigan Emmy Award for Best One-Time Sports Special.
Series Co-Producer/Co-Creator/Editor, CCHA All Access, 2007-2009, (30 episodes), a documentary style show following college hockey programs from the inside. Duties included crafting themes, pre-production, writing, working with talent, interviewing, secondary videography, travel coordination, directing, shooting and editing each 30-minute episode. Won a 2009 Michigan Emmy for Best Sports Program Series. Also, host Michael Kosta won 2009 Michigan Emmy for Best On-Camera Talent.
Show Producer/Editor, The Detroit Red Wings: Life on the Road, 2009, a real-time documentary style show that followed the team, equipment managers and organization on a road trip to Columbus. Three cameras, two talents and I followed them over the course of one night and two days, from the airport to the hotel to the ice-arena for the game.
Show Producer/Editor, The Winter Classic, 2009, a unique and all-access look at what went on when the Detroit Red Wings traveled to Chicago for an outdoor, New Years Day match-up versus the Blackhawks. Cameras rolled as the team practiced at Wrigley Field, suited up in the club house and played in the historical game.
Segment Producer/Writer, Ernie Harwell: 1968 Memories, 2008, a Michigan Emmy nominated historical look back at what made 1968 so special for the Detroit Tigers and the city of Detroit. Profiled all members on the team as well as the special moments in their magical season.
