The Les Paul is a heavy off-balanced guitar.
Pay attention to Sterling's bass. As he speaks the bass neck starts to dip even though he is constantly holding it under his arm pit.
I suppose not only les pauls are off balanced eh Sterling?

I watched this a while back, when it came online pretty much...
I enjoyed that country funk that Sterling Ball played, its different. It was cool to hear how Leo Fender shaped the tonal music industry. I'm sure fretting instruments also added to the brightness..
I would love to see them make a 6 sting ray, but what can you do...

@DavidSinRocks might be using one of those new vintage reissues that they have out now.

i own a sterling and a stringray fretless. Ive played alot of bass's over the years, but i always come back to musicman bass's. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, in that time music was very danced oriented..bernard edwards of chic played a stingray..heard him as a child and loved it.. I like the new direction's MM is taking. I want to check out the reflex bass, it seems to stick to what works and yet throws in a 4 band eq and a ton of options.. I wish i could work for them, id be proud of that!

I wonder if the bass Sterling Ball is using is actually a Pre-Ernie Ball Stingray.. looks a bit like one of those vintage basses!
