The Terriers of Boston University visited their archrival on Chestnut Hill and came away with a 3-1 victory, but the home team made it very interesting in the closing minute. BU freshman Corey Trivino opened the scoring, finding a puck in a BC defenseman's skates and wristing it past a surprised John Muse. After a series of penalties and scrap that put BC's Aiello and BU's Strait in the box for most of the 2nd period, BU freshman Chris Connolly took a great feed from defenseman Colby Cohen and broke in alone, but was impeded by BC defenseman Tommy Cross. A penalty shot was awarded, and Connolly beat Muse just over his right pad. In the third, BC capitalized off a rebound chance and Matt Price put the Eagles on the board. Despite several chances in the final minute, Nick Bonino's diving effort to clear the puck resulted in a goal as time expired to preserve the win for BU.
