So I'm going through all my lifts before they get high enough that they can potentially injure me. Right now this is my deadlift at 400, I'm doing 5 sets of 5. Recorded was my third set, also testing out my belt for the first time.

What I'm seeing is some lower back rounding, especially in the 4th rep. Advice is appreciated!

  • also, lift more with your legs. when you bring the weight down, lower it with your legs, don't just drop it.

  • lower back is wayyyyyy too rounded, plus you're like jerking back when you stand up. just get to the upright position and that is far enough. don't lean back, and maybe go a tiny bit slower.
