@badcompanym44 Yeah, Mosin clips can definitely be finicky. Your best bet with those is have all the rounds leaning to one side so the rims are overlapping, then when you place the clip in the rifle, make sure the top rounds are ahead of the bottom rims. Grab the top round, push down, and sometimes the clip pops itself out for you. That rim jam nonsense can be a nuicance, but 7.62x54r having the longest service history on earth... it's not debateable whether it works or not ;) lol 120 years! WOW

I have a 1942 Russian Capture completely mis-matched K98k aside from matching reciever and stock. They are most definitely one of the best rifles ever built, though tbh I love most rifles lol Sturdy, strong, easy to disassemble the bolt without tools, and is a sleek design that is easy to manipulate. The cock on open bolt isn't the smoothest but personally I find the stripper clips for this rifle are. Reloading is a breeze. Yup, the Germans make fiiiiine firearms :)

@NormanMatchem Yeah man stripper clips work great on this rifle and even more so when comparing to any Mosin–Nagant never had a easy time with those ones.
