For the price is actually pretty neat; I got a bullworker classic after using this one since the straps can stretch, but for the price you get something that actually works.. surprised me too doing isometrics for awhile now and i got in shape using only isometrics and a pair of dumbbells on the side..
I bought mine at Ross for $8.99 U just started using it and I thing it's a good product so far give me a month and I will let you know how much of a difference it is. I like it because I don't need weights and a gym member ship. I'd like to get a pair of the iso forearms and give them a try too.
All valid exercise tools are essentially the same: if you work hard, they yield results. In that sense, ISO7X's valid, but in practice, quite limited: The lack of much movement make it essentially isometric, & the limited/imprecise method of monitoring progress, (frustrating at best, virtually useless), make it suitable long-term only for the most self-motivated trainees. By the time you're -that- motivated, you can get the same workout pulling on a rope or pushing on a stick.
found one at tj maxx for like $9
