Days of Thunder - Titles

This is the opening clip from the movie Days Of Thunder. The music with this clip is absolutely captivating - a masterpiece by Hans Zimmer. Note how the crescendo builds up and culminates when the name "DAYS OF THUNDER" appears against a background of the packed stands of the Daytona 500.

Also, most of the outdoor shots show a dusty, sunset hue - something like a subdued and sad orange. It has taken the visual pleasure to a different level and seems to highlight the rawness of the central theme of motor racing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Daytona 500 - the superbowl of motor racing event...
