@OnlyTubenami Yes, it did. People panned it for not being realistic and complain about the CGI. Honestly, people were just looking for a reason to hate on it. The Tuskegee Airmen faced similar hatred. Thanks for your comment.

Red Tails was such a great movie i took my gf to watch it and man we both loved it :D its a movie for us Christian to realize the tough times for the African Americans had to go threw by the ay i cant wait to have kids :D

ugly fat old George Lucas did so only because his wife is a black?! SMH! or maybe because whites know that black man's dark face make more money than ugly pale untalented white man's face! but i wanna support this movie not because this movie so-called "black" or most have real dark/brown skin black actors but because it's very rare to see nowdays real classy talented black move with real good action by black actors! at least they get job and we can see talented black ppl on tv and media smh!

I saw "Red Tails" last night and totally agree with your entire review. A magnificent, well-done motion picture that includes the best aerial shots I've ever seen in a WWII movie. As you indicated, the unfounded criticism of the movie is due to nothing more than racism, warped social conditioning, and large doses of what a friend of mine calls "haterism." lol I plan to see "Red Tails" again with a long time friend and Tuskegee Airman next week. Keep up the great work, Brother!

@madskillzdotcom The movie was absolutely awesome. The CG was gorgeous, I don't understand why critics didn't like it. Too "disneyfied" for them, I guess.
