Well, this video was recorded in the last Spring. I made a lot of mistakes
No synchronization between the bow and the fingers playing "semi-quavers", out of tones now and then, chaotic bows with the long tied notes, and with double stops.
I get very nervous in front of the camera but it's not the only reason for my bad playing after nearly four years since I bought my violin.

So I've decided to study "seriously" a violin method, to play scales, to play exercises and all that stuff. :)
I need some advice, to choose that method because I'm going to keep on studying by myself, can you recommend one?

  • You remind me of myself. I started playing the violin about one and a half years ago, and i am stuck. i feel like i'm not making any progress since the last month.

but i think it is just to challenge oneself with pieces which are at the limit of your skills and then concentrating on improving the parts which sound horrible. of course the piece has to be one that you know nearly by heart, so you can hear the mistakes you are making.

anyway. i think it's a great thing you're doing, keep on

  • @Fariwesen

Thanks for your advice and your words. :)

  • A very good exercise. Were your following scores/notes or making it as you went along. I thought it was nice. What was that look afterwords? I think I detected a little smile after "the look" :))

    thanks for sharing!!! terry

  • I play all by heart except the double stops.

Yes I smiled because at the end I playd note too much. :)

    thanks for commeting my friend.

  • Cuanto me alegro de verte de nuevo en Youtube.

Tienes razón, no es sólo cosa de un libro, sino de cambiar entre varios.

Buscaré esos otros autores que dices y trabajaré con ellos también.

  • Hola.

  • Ahh I thought that it sounded familiar :)

  • Thank you but I have to work harder on it. :)

  • Thanks.

The piece is Concerto nº 5, 3rd movement by F. Seitz. :)

  • It's good. I don't have any method right now.

Btw, which songs are you playing?
