Severna Park native, Betsy Wyble, discusses how liver surgery has made her cancer-free since 2005 and enabled her to continue pursuing her passion for tennis. She worked with liver surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Philosophe, to discuss surgical options that could preserve her physical assets and enable her to maintain her life on the tennis courts, yet still cure her of cancer. With the help of the radiology oncology team who shrunk Betsy's tumor to an operable size, Dr. Philosophe was able to remove Betsy's cancer through a liver resection and cure her of the disease.
