You might find it interesting as to how influential experiential learning can be toward your decision to buy a product versus a standard advertisement. For example, if your mother uses a particular laundry detergent to teach you how to do laundry and no negative results come from using it, you are more likely to purchase that detergent in the future. Same goes for shaving cream/gel.

The only things they said that were remotely relevant to functionality is the lubrication and having a smooth face. I don't mind the beautiful women, but it isn't going to get me to buy this. In fact the reason Edge shave gel was the first shaving lubricant I ever used was because my dad showed me how to shave with his Edge gel and I felt that it worked for me too.
