Heron sounds

Another peaceful day by the lake. Trying to capture a fish jumping: captured the neighbour's chain saw. I ended up watching the heron, who alighted on the raft. Then, the ducks start having a noisy bath. You can vaguely hear the heron squawking her displeasure, while I was trying not to snort too loudly as I stood watching them. You can hear the camera clcks. too! Every time the ducks had their splash bath, she'd scold them with a mumbled word or two. I wish I have professional equipment to capture her sounds! It was funny. Herons do not have pretty songs and she seemed mighty peeved.

@DebbeMay Our family had this cottage for 50 years! We moved away in 2010 to be closer to kids and grandkids. I still have the videos and my memories. Thanks for commenting.
