  • I agree with everything the chancellor said, but I firmly believe the university's acceptance rate is atrociously high. Making KU's acceptance rate more in line with model public universities like Indiana, UNC, Virginia and Iowa will go a long way toward achieving the goals mentioned in the video. I've enjoyed every moment of my time at KU, but there are simply too many students here who don't belong. I'm not meaning to sound elitist, but I don't see the gain in permitting apathetic students.
