there is music in this prayer. the call to prayer is music. music changes the brain chemistry. for the better. i know that extreme christian religions like eg. pentecostals and i think hutterites fear music but.....(this is in response to ilovefajr comments about music)

@IloveFajr Music do make you smarter. Once you learn the scales your mind improves ALOT. But that is not important for the moment. Sometimes when I need motivation for a job music helps alot. What about if it is only a trance melody? No singing included?

music does not make you smarter

you want to be smarter..ask Allah for Wisdom,ask Him for Guidance...if music can make you smarter,why is that so many people who are deep into music are also into drugs and drinking..if music make one smarter..why are so many listeners do so many stupid things ..do you know..? the only thing music can do for you, is invite Shytan in your home and life...nothing more,and nothing good..

yes, music is almost everywhere...and you can avoid most of it..if you want to..

but in your home, and about playing it,you can avoid ALL of it..all of the time...

things to avoid: magic,ALL KINDS OF MAGIC spiritualists,gambling,drinkin­g,music,astrology,drugs fortune tellers

tarot cards,movies about spirits,demons,devil worship,things like the exsorcist porn...ect..ect..

playing music invites shytan in your home,and he will invite his friends,next thing you know,you can find yourself distancing yourself from Islam,Quran and all that is good..if that happens,play ayat ul-Kursi (Al-baqarah) 2:255 for 3 days and 3 nights..and they will flee...

and look where they ended up..

some sing about satan,killing their parents,devil worship..ect.

Shytan is a powerful enemy my brother...way to powerful to let him sit next to you..the more you invite him to sit with you by playing..,the stronger he gets..and the more it sits,the more he's controlling you

@IloveFajr I did not find any verse confirming this. But what I could confirm is this: Lets say for example I have one Tab with a Quran verse and another one with some music. If I choose to listen to the music then I could confirm that is haram. Otherwise music is everywhere and running away from that is almost imposible.

The Muslim does not question Allah's choices,He has Created us, and He know's what is best for us..I thought the same as you do, when i entered in Islam,but in time i got to understand, and i see how music can be very dangerous for anyone,not just Muslim..
