  • I let my house go into foreclosure in May 09. I've paid off over $20k in debt, and now the bank bought the house for more than my mortage, which means no deficiency. I'm off scot free except for the ding on my credit. FUCK THE BANKS.

  • Auto and bank bailouts have made this economic mess worse.

  • Chris

I couldn't agree with you more, The government stole his money for 50 years and I agree with your comments about all the dead beats collecting SS.

Please excuse the name calling, it was uncalled for and I apologize. I thought from your comments your were in someway stating that SS was an a idea worth continuing.

Personally I think it's to late to save the system and the republic, to many deadbeats that have figured out how to milk the system.

  • WHAT? I suppose it's possible on a nominal basis, but certainly not on a spending power basis. Furthermore, robbing him of his money every week robbed him of the ability to put the money towards retirement which could have earned interest. The gov did exactly what they said men would do which is that they would spend money and not save.

I don't think this is any reason to start name calling. Do you have any idea how many people are collecting SS without having paid into it?

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS !!! I am always looking for postings from KING WORLD NEWS .

  • Chris Your a moron! Do some simple math if your dad collects for 10 years he'll be on the upside of what he paid in.

  • I disagree about SS. As an example, my father paid into this system for over 50 years! He is still working and gets only a small fraction of what he paid into it. He isn't hurting, but he isn't rich. It's a small fraction of what he paid into it. What we need to do is kick all the people off of social security who never paid into it.

  • There is also little desire to see the price fall because it will undoubtedly affect the amount of property taxes that local counties will be able to collect on such houses.
