Yeah it´s a long way to the first good finds, so keep it up!!! A tip! Go in a wood, i think it´s possible to find there some old coins. If u want make a little research about your hunting area!!! I got my first metal detector for my birthday last month. Mine's a Bounty Hunter model too.
I haven't gotten the chance to use it very much so far but I've found close to $2 in change at a local park over the two trips I've made there. Of course, and the assorted junk one tends to find while metal detecting as well.

@FranksWarJournal Sweet! I have found a few dollars in change as well. Especially at local high schools, concession stands, bleachers, etc.
