ight soo im an upcoming dubstep artist. ive heard in a few tracks how the m.b.l modulated bassline or wobble and drumpattern fades in i wanna make a tune with that involved do you think this could work?

OR you just drop a utility plug, or something else with master volume fader in it and automate that. I solved the problem like this, because i hate to jump to the envelop than back.. again and again, and the mixers volume fader doesnt harmed at all.
Just an other tip for you guys!

@parkettasag This also works too! I totally forgot about this, i usually drop an EQ8 for it and use the output volume if i need to.

Or you can bounce midi to an audio channel and then fade :p
also make a video about mixing and mastering and doing a proper mixdown, im interested to hear what u have to say

@AbstractRecords You can do it that way, but notice how i said the "easiest" way to do it :) The only reason I would recommend that method is if you are working on a laptop, or low CPU / RAM system that can't handle alot of automation. Otherwise it is good to keep all the functionality of your midi, without have to go back and change something, re-bounce it, and re-fade the audio.
