What about a campaign to educate people, to stop the hysteria over nuclear energy.

Who is this person? Is her profile online somewhere? Hiring someone other than a scientists that works in the field of energy would be moronic.

Solar energy is a great idea, but its going to take a leap in technology to make it practical because as of now most solar cells aren't cost effective, and that they generate little or no additional energy compared to the energy required to make them (which comes from fossil fuels). The same thing can be said with a lot of the energy alternatives.

We need to get Algae biodiesel to work. We could use our existing infrastructure and still have a closed loop system. Even using internal combustion engines.

Please move us to an electric vehicle fleet. All energy sources can generate efficient electricity and thus compete on a fair market watt-per-watt basis. The net efficiency per mile dramatically improves. The technology is here today. And electric motors have much higher performance than gas engines so they can be fun to drive!!

yeah, you are correct. Toyota,VW,Honda,Mitsubishi,Kia ,Nissan,BMW,etc, all have sales that fell 20-30+%, oh-same as Ford,Chy and GM. Heck they even have MORE RECALLS and CAMPAIGNS per brand than the big three.
If you want to blame someone, blame that asshole Bush for letting the economy get this way. He had warnings and elected to ignore them. But hey, he bailed out his buddies on Wall St. and the Banking sectors.

Why noone is talking about the water car produced by japanese, or the many people studing HHO gas or magnetic engines. Solar and wind is not so efficient as the cold fusion or the cold electricity. No one says that solar panel companies and well wind generators are owned by oil comanies. You can witness these marvels here on internet. Search for Bedini, Newman motor, Penderev, or simply look for free energies. With High Voltages you can generate overunity devices. Don't miss this opportunity
