@xxCassandraJanexx The term "chav" wasn't in the public consciousness at this time, also I remember back then a lot of kids of secondary school age used to wear sports brand clothing outside of school, even the ones who were completely unlike what we now call chavs (I remember the word "townie" cropping up at the end of the 90s)
