@Myhopeisinhim "the veil separating ... showed us that we were separated from him because of our sin, and until that veil came down, opening the way, we could not yet enter in"
Since, and as long as, Jesus still intercedes as our High Priest, we are STILL unable to pass through the veil ourselves and come directly into His Father's presence. This will be the case as long as sins are still being brought to Christ for forgiveness; once this ceases, He can THEN leave the temple and come for us.

Do you mind telling me what you have exposed? Have I missed some comments, somewhere? What is the truth that you have spoken of.
You have given me, finally one verse from Isaiah that had nothing to do with the subject And one verse from Revelation that was just out of the blue.
Were you trying to make some neferious point with these two verses?
@jkw733
I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but. What else does the veil symbolize in the scriptures.
There is an answer that has yet to be given. One that presents an angle often ignored.

@Myhopeisinhim Are you referring to Christ's flesh, as in Heb. 10:19-22, or still something else?
"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
And having an high priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water".

This action of Jesus upon the believer validates the fact that it IS possible through Him to NOT yield to the temptations of the flesh that so continually beset us; we are CLEAN.
Therefore, if we in fact DO yield to Satan's impulses to be sinful rather than righteous as Christ has made us, EITHER we confess and repent in order to be cleansed yet AGAIN, or we choose to continue in sin and be FILTHY again.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
@jkw733
you are correct that it showed that we now have direct access into God's presence.
I want to touch on the above comment because your answer directly refutes the 1844 doctrine; but before I touch on that I'd like to dig deeper.
What else does the veil symbolize?

@Myhopeisinhim "your answer directly refutes the 1844 doctrine"
The ONLY "1844 doctrine" I'm aware of is Dan. 8:14's mention of the (heavenly) sanctuary being cleansed after the 2,300-day(year) time period expires.
The earthly sanctuary has been non-existent since 70 A.D., having been declared desolate decades earlier by Jesus, leaving the one in heaven as the ONLY one needing to undergo the Day of Atonement process, and be cleansed of all forgiven sins brought there by Christ our High Priest.
