...by the way, today is one of my most favorite days of the year, it's March Forth. It's a day that I have come to look forward to, even more than New Years. It's a time to March Forth, or Forward with a newness of life. A time to take pause and give thanks to God for all his blessings, and to try to go forward with a more balanced and purposeful life and focus. That being said, I wanted to share a video on this special day, that was inspired by the 2007 movie August Rush with Freddie Highmore. This orphan boy discovers that he is able to express himself through any instrument that he touches. One powerful scene is of him picking up a guitar, and changing it's tuning to something completely different. Then he just starts to strike at the strings (almost like a drum), and the sound that you hear is so fresh and amazing, it just makes you want to try to play like him. After I watched the movie, the next day, I went to my guitar, and I tried to match the tuning that he did, and then I plugged it into my amp, and this is the instrumental piece that came pouring out from me. I hope you like it. It's very freeing to play, and feels like breathing in fresh air for the first time. If you love music, you must see this movie, it will make you want to play in a whole new way! Great job, you should make a tutorial. I liked the movie a lot and it forced me to try to play dueling guitars, i made a video so you can check it out, if you watch it you might have to turn up the volume, i have a bad mic at the moment. Thanks for sharing this song, i'm going to try out this tuning.
