Imagining Anakin as 'dumb' reduces Luke's achievement in not succumbing to the Emperor's power. In fact, Palpatine was a Sith lord of prodigious might even Yoda couldnt defeat him.
Anakins fall is supposed to be tragic, not the story of a weak fool but that of a great hero masterfully corrupted by a web of deceit that was carefully woven over a decade.

Me too! I remember watching the original trilogy in 5th grade and falling in love with Luke. And I still have a crush on him!

So what if Luke is ugly, Luke wasn't evil. Luke wasn't dumb enough to allow the emperor to decieve him as dumbass Anakin did. If it wasn't for Anakin none of all those poor young children would've been killed in episode III or those jedi.

Luke is my favourite jedi. He was the most powerfull jedi after return of the jedi. If anakin lived after return of the jedi and be light sided, he would be the most powerfull. I know that Luke was the last jedi alive (maybe there were others) until he founded the new academy were Kyle trained. STAR WARS 4 LIFE !
