Since you love statements without arguments so much, here's a challenge directed towards your qoute: 1) Define knowledge, 2) present a logical, well constructed argument on why fear is the beginning of this knowledge, and 3) how the fool despise both wisdom which is personal and instruction (which is undermining once own wisdom for the words of another).

Yes. Kill them all, except for the virgins. God said it was OK to keep the virgins. But kill every other man, woman, child...and even the unborn children in the wombs of mothers, who had to be innocent.

God clearly did not respect individual life the way we do. It's interesting that our sense of morality is so different from the god who did all of that killing.

I found it impossible to love and forgive people properly without God. As I tried I only became hateful because I wasnt doing it out of love. True love I believe comes through God alone. When we love and live for him, ask for knowledge and wisdom, he will give it to us and we slowly start to see why people are the way they are and then be able to counter it with love to help them. No one is perfect, but we can be forgiven and better ourselves through God.
